Covenant Children's Center

The purpose and mission of Covenant Children's Center is to care for and nurture children and families in our community. We offer programs for children ages 18 months through 5th grade. Here at Covenant, the teachers are experienced and loving. Our learning environment is flexible, and our classes are designed to support each child’s physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth. In addition to our welcoming classrooms, we have many other physical learning spaces including a large multipurpose room for indoor gross motor play, a fenced playground with a variety of play structures and open spaces, a community garden, a paved labyrinth, and a quiet sheltered courtyard.

Here at Covenant, we also have significantly smaller group sizes and smaller child to teacher ratios than other programs. This enables us to provide more responsive individualized care and have more frequent one-on-one interactions between children and teachers.

All sessions of summer preschool camp are full, and we are no longer accepting applications for the preschool camp waiting list.

Covenant is offering Summer Preschool Camp Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings for children ages 3 - 5 years old. Preschool Camp activities engage children in playful learning experiences with as much outdoor time as possible. Each week the campers explore a new theme such as camping, outer space, dinosaurs, building, or messy science depending upon the interests of the children and teachers. Once a week the class participates in a cooking or food preparation activity.  See the information sheet and application form for more details.

Camp Covenant is for children entering grades 1 - 3 for the 2022 - 2023 school year. Campers attend 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.  Campers take a deep dive into the topics on Tuesday with hands-on activities, discussions, short lessons and presentations, and arts and crafts.  On Thursday children continue exploration of the topics with a local field trip and a picnic lunch in the middle of the day. Campers may sign up for individual weeks, or for the whole summer. See the information sheet and application form for more details.
